Scope: Packaging, Branding and Art Direction
The Brief
With the launch of a new six-product range, Butt Naked Body wanted to introduce Australian native ingredients for the first time. The goal was to reflect an ‘Aussie feel’—modern, fresh, and sophisticated—steering clear of stereotypical or overly clichéd representations.
The Concept
Inspired by the diverse Australian landscape, we chose a colour palette grounded in earthy greens, rich outback reds, and soft golden yellows. These tones capture the essence of Australia’s natural beauty in a way that feels both timeless and contemporary.
To elevate the connection to native ingredients, we worked with a local illustrator to design bespoke line illustrations for each product. Every design highlights the specific native ingredient used—such as Kakadu plum—paired with subtle nods to Australian flora, fauna, and culture.
The Execution
Each product’s packaging was designed to stand out while remaining cohesive as a collection. The delicate illustrations paired with the warm, earthy tones created a look that feels premium and grounded. Careful attention to typography and layout ensured the design remained clean, approachable, and reflective of the Butt Naked Body ethos.
